Maqui berry is a Patagonian wild fruit, and a dietary phenomenon. It is packed with essential vitamins, dietary fibre, protein, carbohydrate, antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds. Maqui has one of the highest antioxidant values of any fruit, and is believed to help protect the body from the problems associated with free radical oxidisation damage – including heart disease, cancer, arthritis and premature ageing.

PRODUCTION
Rainforest Foods Maqui is harvested sustainably by the Mapuche people, who beat the flexible tree branches to recover the fruit, then place fallen leaf and twig matter on the ground below to create fertiliser. The fruit is immediately freeze-dried - frozen, then warmed to vaporise the frozen water content, then milled to powder. A high percentage of the original nutritional elements remains, in portable, convenient and environmentally responsible form.

ORGANIC CERTIFICATION
As a wild-grown product, Rainforest Foods Macqui berry is not organically certified. However, the manufacture and supply chain is USDA organically certified.

INGREDIENTS
Freeze dried wholefruit maqui berry powder. Vegetable cellulose capsule shells with no artificial colourings, flavourings or preservatives.

SUGGESTED USE
Take 2-4 capsules per day with water.
